A study of 5000 judgments from the past decade by litigation analytics company Solomonic, reveals that Queens's Counsel win 55% of cases where they are opposed by a non-QC counsel in litigation cases.

The study found that there is usually parity in terms of legal experience when it comes to selecting counsel teams; however, in 25% of cases there was a disparity in seniority but this did not affect the outcomes in any significant way.

The size of the counsel team was shown to have a bigger impact, where larger teams won 70% of the time.
