Afqar has been a practicing costs specialist for 25 years. Afqar was amongst the first to be granted rights of audience and Costs Lawyer status and advises on all aspects of contentious litigation costs including solicitor/client disputes.

Afqar holds a practicing certificate and has rights of audience in all costs proceedings. He is also an accredited training provider.

Michael is a leading commercial costs specialist. He has particular experience of high end commercial and intellectual property costs matters. He has a Masters degree in Law (with distinction) and has specialised in commercial costs for twenty years. Michael divides his time between his costs work and his studies as he completes a PhD, but remains an active part of the team.

Fidelma is a double science graduate having gained first class honours in both (Fine Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals and Infections Diseases). Fidelma has in excess of 20 years' experience in legal costs, having worked for Stewarts Solicitors before joining DeNovo in 2004.

Sean holds a Law degree and the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Sean is a qualified Costs Lawyer and joined DeNovo in 2016.

Jane joined DeNovo in 2011 from a Dublin law firm where she was Head of Civil Litigation. Jane became a Costs Lawyer in 2017.

Noel has been with DeNovo since 2005. As well as dealing with commercial costs Noel works on all types of personal and catastrophic injuries cost claims.

John Anthony is a Mathematics graduate who spent over 20 years' working within the legal Banking & Finance sector prior to re-training in Costs and joining Denovo.

Hannah is our newest team member, having joined Denovo in 2023.

A former partner at leading City practices, David has both national and international insurance litigation experience. David is a qualified arbitrator.
