Fidelma Padfield has been costs drafting for 18 years.
After having gained an award of Distinction when completing an ILEX law costing course, Fidelma began working in-house for Stewarts Solicitors. Thereafter she gained experience in various in-house firms as well as costs drafting firms. Fidelma has worked as a freelance costs consultant for Denovo since 2004.

One of the small team to prepare a series of bills of costs in Kuwait Airways Corporation v Iraqi Airways Company which was then the highest claim for costs ever having been made.
Prior to 2000 Fidelma completed two science degrees gaining upper class honours in both (Fine Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals and Infections Diseases). She retains a keen interest in science and invention. Fidelma is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Law.
